I built an Inukshuk this weekend with the Thirsty Thursday girls – we were on our second annual Spring Retreat. We called her Doris. I have no idea why but she’s cool!! I will have to talk to you to explain the whole weekend. Much mayhem ensued!!

Dear Dan,
I have fallen off the face of the earth. Floating out here…staring(literally) off into space. Dont know how it quite happened. Just did. Weird huh?
So, I have taken up this other thing…some people call it a life. Thats weird too. Being on vacation has caused me to um, umm, want to go back to work. Oh dont get me wrong, I like being home, hanging with the kiddies, gardening, having dinner at a reasonable time. Etc… Its the cleaning that kills me. Geeesh.
So, I havent written anything, painted, read a book…nothing.
Oh I did a crossword. So my brain wont shrivel up and just pour out of my little skull in revolt. I do have to say, Its all been okay. Truly.Last time I cried? Hmmmm, just the other day. Just one of those emotions that can hit me out of no where. AND those demons who like to poke at me. It passes. No biggie. Has to be.
And lastly my fave color is all of them. I prefer for some reason, to wear black and white alot. Surprised? LOL didnt think so.

So thats my existence.

My favorite color is purple, just like a 12 year old girl. I cried during a stupid fight with my husband. My cats are driving me insane. I just cleaned the bathroom, and I forgot I need to give the dog a bath. That will ruin the freshly cleaned bathroom. I hate it when I do stupid things like that. I love mornings. Ironically mornings are what have the potential of ruining my day. Not for the obvious reason (being at the start of the day) but because they are filled with so much promise. The sun cracking through the curtains, birds waking with the sun. All good stuff. One wrong move in the morning though will set the rest of the day into a tail-spin the likes of which cannot be paralleled at any other time of the day. Mornings are mine.
