Don’t Even Get Me Started!

If one more person (usually my single friends that I hang out with to pretend I am not married with children) tells me that through some magical combination of physics and pixie dust that I got an extra hour of sleep today, I will stick a rusty spoon in their eye!

Our clocks went back last week. All that happened was the kids got us up at 5am instead of 6am. Oh joy.

Hi Dan, when my eldest was a baby I was up at 3.00am and pretty close to creating a cartoon-esque ‘baby shape’ in the wardrobe door.

It don’t get any better tho – my two are 18 and 21 now – I just picked up the relay baton from my parents I guess, youngest thinks he’s immortal – life plan – join the Royal Marines, got to Afghanistan, capture Bin Laden, get bounty money, leave army and set up a restaurant –hmmm – any one for an ’18 year old shape’ through the wardrobe?

Having gone through the other end a week ago I can confidentally say that I certainly lost an hours sleep because I had to be at work for a 9am meeting. On a Sunday – whose idea was that?

Yeah, no kids, but an elderly mother-in-law who makes a midnight journey to the emergency room can screw with that beautiful “extra hour” thng also.

This is when I miss AZ the most, since we didn’t observe time changes. Except then my cable show times would be all messed up. Then it would take until the NEXT time change to get used to the new schedule. I spent most of the year pretty confused.

my mother and father had that very same argument. There are still 24 hours in a day..no matter how you slice it, or change the clocks.
