Dander is basically particles of dry, flaked off skin from animals or humans...it usually settles as dust, but when there is a commotion or it is disturbed, it floats up...hence the term. I was always confused by "To each, his own"... but that's because I always heard it as "To each is own"... I figured it out once I saw it in print. 12 more months and I'm all caught up Dan!
