That was a great post. As an ex-smoker (I think I can officially call myself that since it has been 3 mos), I can relate to what you said. My (smoking) grandmother had a stroke. What do I do? I smoke more. My mother-in-law died of emphazema. What do I do? I smoke more.

Again, great post.

My Great Grandmother's middle name was Leone, so that was passed down to me. I don't know anything about where it came from before that. It surely isn't a common name!

Terri - Thanks Terri. I always feel good after reading your comments. If it means I need to keep eating broccoli sprout salads, then it is all worth it!

PiTS - I am still contemplating my tag. I will reciprocate!

Connecticut Man - Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and comment. Expect a visit soon.

Great Dane Addict - It would be interesting to find out where your middle name originated. Perhaps we are distantly related?

Jodi - Fascinating story, as always. I am surrounded by naggers while you have "watchers." Whatever it takes. Thanks for the kind words. I DID pop over to your site and I am eagerly wrapping my head around the contest. Thank you!

I am probably the WORST person to answer your question...In short, Yes...major , but more of a percieed weight issue, that I have carried around like a monkey on my back since a child. Having gone the route of eating disorders, been labeled diagnosed and to no avail it sticks. As I have aged, I have learned more of myself and come to terms with many aspects, all but one.
I can lose weight at the drop of a hat. Although not very healthy and I have enough watchers in my life that it proves difficult to not go the correct course.
Anywho, I love this post, as I can understand it. More than you know!

PS I am asking you to pop over...You came to mind...jus go see!

<i>"I have embarrassed myself in front of Both of My Readers!"</i>

Now it is 3 readers, judging by the number of comments. JK I keep meaning to get back to exercising but I have been putting it off. I could use to lose a good 15 pounds right now. I don't eat much junk food though, so I have managed to keep from gaining too much for it to be unhealthy. But I could still be a bit healthier.

Anyways... Good for you! Keep it up. Just had to stop and say that as I aimlessly surf.

I'm a vegetarian with no idea of health. I know the ones you hear about are the ones who don't eat meat and then they drink tea and they re-use the tea bag five times and then put it in the backyard as a compost, whatever that means. But I'm out there, too, and I can tell you there's nothing like those new microwaved fries they sell at the supermarket. Maybe I'm about to gain a lot of weight now that I quit smoking, but I guess I'll deal with that when it happens... And it will.

So, just wanted to let you know I've tagged you. Feel free to ignore it, as usual.
