Breaking News
Posted by danleone on November 8th, 2006 filed in blogging, funny, politicsI am a news hound and I pay money to have Breaking News sent to my cellphone “just in case.” Can someone please explain why I needed to pay to find out that Britney Spears is getting divorced? Why do I see this Breaking News scroll along the bottom of the screen on CNN…on the same day that Americans are voting in important elections across the nation?

Hear, hear. I agree that no one should be exposed to such “news.” Here’s another interesting tidbit for you:

Apparently, Iran is now a nuclear power according to an Israeli news site. However, such statements are conspicuously missing from msnbc, cnn, and bbc. Wonder why?
