We were talking about how cold it was going to be this weekend and I said that it is 28 degrees outside this morning. Without blinking, my nine year old said

I hope it rains because then it will be snowing.

Did you mean that you hope it snows?

    Makes perfect sense to me. If it rains when it is 28 degrees outside, the rain will come down as snow. It’s just science, you know.
